Is the Free Ride Over?

I am freerider. I do not race, I ride XC, AM, DH is fun for me. I am freerider I am blessed to walk out my front door and choose to ride on four world class mountains. But with the movement to more flow trails with less skinnies and drops the knar of the freeride of the past has lost it's punch. I think the term will be around for some time, It meaning is already morphing back to the live style comment that it all started as.I think it was Chaz back int he day explaining whet free ride is to him back in 1998

Wheels, on Aug 19th I will be on this beast from 6 am and then she has to be home and in the bike rack by 10 pm. I figure to hit Fromme, I bet I can get 20 laps of Bobsled done in that time.... LOL No whistler for me this year :( BALLS! In 2012 I am going to be all over Whistler with a total disregard for my personal safety.

I ended up putting a shimano cable guide on the BB so the cable could be routed to the front der. There is a little rub of the cable against the frame but I put some cable protector over the spot where it rubs. My 2008 Roco RC is a great shock for what I paid for. I am running about 180 psi in the bottom out chamber, no compression damp. This shock has speed sensitive rebound this allows the shock to rebound fast over roots but rebound slow on the big hits so you don't get bucked off the bike. I think this Roco is a better suited shock for this frame. Drop by anytime and I will give you my fly rod
